MS Dhoni Behind the Nets Before IPL 2023!

Chennai Super Kings will play Gujarat Titans in the opening match on March 31 and Dhoni & Co. started training at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium on Friday.

Only a few weeks from now for the most competitive and entertaining cricket premier league. Few marquee players are busy with some of their commitments but Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has started his preparation for IPL 2023, which is likely to be his last season.

M.S Dhoni is expected to appear as a player for the last time and that possibility has made the upcoming season more interesting than ever. He is considered as one of the most successful captains in history and has an unexpected fan base.

Meanwhile, a fresh video has been shared by the IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings on Instagram, where ‘Thala’ was seen hitting the balls hard at nets. “Our Friday feeling is surely unmatched,” CSK captioned the video.

The video of the same was shared by the IPL franchise as Dhoni was seen getting a warm welcome from the staff. Apart from Dhoni, CSK players like Ambati Rayudu, Indian Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, all-rounder Shivam Dube also reached Chennai to resume their rigorous training ahead of the highly anticipated season.

Talking about CSK’s IPL season 2022, it was a horrific time for the team as the franchise ended in the bottom of the charts. In that season it was a surprise to hand over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja from M.S. Dhoni and series got unlikely results and there was a massive dip in Jadeja’s performance. Due to previous experience it was likely to hand over the captaincy back to Dhoni.

According to reports, Dhoni might play his last IPL as a player but may continue with the franchise in different capacities in successive seasons. Chennai Super Kings will play Gujarat Titans in the opening match on 31st March.
